In short

1. Who processes the data

Vittorio Barile — Via Don Angelo Sanzò 37, 86017 Sepino (CB), Italy — VAT number (partita IVA) 01826370700 — info@swipeout.it

For everything else, the SwipeOut Business Privacy Notice applies.

2. What they are

2.1 Cookies are small files that a site saves in the browser and reads again on later visits.

2.2 The same principles apply to other tools that store or read information in the browser, such as local storage. This policy covers all of them and calls them together "tools".

2.3 First-party tools are set by us, third-party tools by a provider.

3. Technical tools — no consent needed

3.1 They are needed for the console to work. Under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code they do not require consent. They cannot be switched off from the console: if you block them in your browser, the console does not work.

Tool Purpose Type Duration
Session credentials Keeping you signed in and renewing access securely First party, encrypted local storage Until you sign out or the session expires
Language Remembering the language you chose First party, local storage Until you change it or clear your browser data
Drafts Keeping posts, events and campaigns you are filling in and have not yet sent First party, encrypted local storage Until you publish or discard them or sign out
Cookie choices Remembering what you decided on the banner First or third party, cookie 12 months

4. Payments and sign-in with Google or Apple

4.1 Stripe. To pay for a subscription or a campaign you are taken to Stripe's payment page. There Stripe uses its own cookies, including for fraud prevention, under its own notice: https://stripe.com/privacy. We do not set Stripe cookies on the console.

4.2 Google and Apple. If you sign in with a Google or Apple account, the sign-in page belongs to that provider and uses its cookies, under its rules.

5. Usage statistics — only with your consent

5.1 What we use. Google Analytics, through Google Firebase, provided by Google Ireland Limited.

5.2 Purpose. To understand how the console is used: which screens are opened, which functions are used, where errors occur. It helps us improve it.

5.3 When it is activated. Only after you have given consent on the banner. Before your choice, and if you refuse, Google Analytics is not loaded and the browser does not contact Google for statistics.

5.4 What data. Screens visited, actions taken, date and time, type of device and browser, language, approximate geographical area derived from the IP address, and a random browser identifier. We do not send Google your name, email, contact details, content you write or your customers' data.

5.5 Tools set.

Tool Purpose Type Duration
_ga Telling one browser from another with a random identifier Third party (Google), cookie 2 years
_ga_<ID> Keeping the state of the statistics session Third party (Google), cookie 2 years

5.6 No advertising use. We do not enable the advertising features of Google Analytics and do not link this data to advertising profiles.

5.7 Retention. Google keeps statistics data for the period we set, no longer than 14 months.

5.8 Transfer outside the European Union. Google may process data in the United States. The transfer is covered by the adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres, and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Google's notice: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6. No advertising

6.1 The console has no profiling, remarketing or behavioural advertising cookies, and no third-party advertising pixels.

6.2 The campaigns you buy show your content to SwipeOut app users: they do not use cookies on the console.

6.3 Commercial communications from SwipeOut depend on a consent you manage in your profile, not on a cookie.

7. The banner

7.1 At your first access a banner asks what you want to do, with three buttons of equal weight: Accept, Reject and Customise. There are two categories: Necessary, always on, and Statistics, off until you switch it on.

7.2 Continuing to browse or closing the banner does not count as consent. If you reject, the banner is not shown again for at least 6 months, unless the tools used change.

7.3 We record your choice, with date and time, so that we can demonstrate it.

8. How to change your mind

8.1 From "Privacy and consents" in your profile or from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page you can give or withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.

8.2 Withdrawal takes effect immediately and does not make what was done before unlawful.

8.3 You can also delete cookies and data from your browser. This will sign you out and you will lose unsent drafts.

9. Legal basis

Tools Legal basis
Technical (§3) Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Statistics (§5) Consent (Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

10. Rights and contact

Your rights and how to exercise them are described in §11 of the SwipeOut Business Privacy Notice.
